We try to make applying for a rented property with us as easy and fair as possible. Our portal makes everything transparent. You are given the ability to check your rent account and any prescribed information at any time. If your landlord has asked us to manage the let you will also be able to track any ongoing maintenance at the property via your portal. It is also how you should report any maintenance issues. It is important your report issues as soon as you are aware of them so they can be fixed promptly before the situation worsens.

We take the same pride and care in marketing our lettings houses as we do with our sales houses. We’ll come to the property, talk to you about the rent we’d expect to achieve, the type of tenants you’re looking for and what you want from an agent. We’ll explain all of your legal obligations, give you advice on presentation and marketing, on whether to go furnished or unfurnished, on how to make sure it all goes right, but also on what might go wrong. Basically everything you need to know, warts and all.

Emergency Contacts

An emergency is classed as a fire, flood, gas leak, electrical failure, or boiler break down. If you are unsure, please check your portal for guidance. If your problem is not classed as an “emergency” you should wait until office hours (9am - 5.30pm) Any false or non-emergency call outs are subject to a call out fee. All problems should be reported through the portal as soon as they happen for record keeping and so we are aware of what has happened at the house should there be any follow up needed, and so we are aware to report back to the landlord.

Portals

Our property portals allow access to key information in one easy to use place. Landlords can download statements, view their accounts online and keep track of income and expenditure. For tenants, we realise moving house can be a stressful experience so by using the portal you can stay informed from the application stage right the way through to when you move out. We let you know important events such as your referencing status, when inspections are booked. You can also find out move in and move out appointment dates and times.
