A four bedroom detached house with a west-facing garden, improved by an open-plan kitchen / dining room and a lovely sun room and nicely tucked away close to Tannery Park.
Park Road is an established and very popular street of mostly detached houses located behind Tannery Park towards the Pampisford end of the village. The house is nicely tucked back off the road.
It has a generous sitting room and has been modernised by opening the kitchen into the dining room which creates an excellent family room that opens on to the garden. Off here is a utility room. A sun room has been added off the hall and provides an excellent extra living room. Upstairs there is a bathroom and four bedrooms, the master with an en-suite shower room.
There is a gravel driveway in front of the house leading to the attached double garage. The rear garden faces west and is lawned with shrub borders, a new timber deck and a circular patio.
There is gas fired central heating to radiators and UPVC double glazing.
Sawston is one of the largest villages to the near south of the City, situated about 3 miles from the City boundary and around 4 miles from the Addenbrooke’s campus. It also gives excellent access to the M11 (J10 3 miles). There are good cycle routes to the mainline railway station at Whittlesford (1.5 miles) and the science parks at Babraham (2 miles) and Abington (3.5 miles).
The village has a fantastic range of local shops including a small supermarket, various restaurants and takeaways, an excellent modern health centre, primary schools and the high achieving Sawston Village College which has a sports centre, gym and swimming pool that are open to the public. There is very little need to leave the village for day-to-day living.
